Alexia Benavent-Rivera

I’m Alexia Benavent-Rivera, a Puerto Rican born artist based in Georgia, and a soon to be graduate (Fall 2022) with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Art & Design from the University of Georgia. My work has been shown in multiple exhibitions, my most recent being the 47th Juried Exhibition in Athens, GA where I won a Merit Award. I focus much of my work traditionally and digitally in illustration but have growing experience with 3D materials such as embroidery, book arts, and ceramics, as well as 2D animation.
